Materials
Thin card / thick paper 160gsm patterned or coloured
Fine water spray bottle filled with water
Paint brush
Penny or similar 2cm across coin
1. Select a sheet of card and using a 1” hole punch cut out your circles. I remove the back of the punch and work with it upside down so I can see exactly where I am cutting.
2. Take 1 disc, place on the palm of your hand and spray both sides once. You only want it damp not soaking wet.
3. Place the damp disc, face up, on top of number 21 (or 20 for more upright sides) of the circle template. Hold up to the light to centre it. If it falls off spray the template with water and try again.
4. Place the coin in the centre of the disc and press. Hold for a few seconds then wiggle the template around so that all sides of the plate are raised. lift up the template, with a finger on the coin, so the plate and coin fall through. Repeat for all of your plates.
